This notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code) and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. It explains the purposes and methods of processing and outlines the rights that can be exercised by those who access this website, either directly or through links from other sites, and browse its pages.
This notice applies exclusively to data collected while connecting to or navigating this website.

2. TYPES OF DATA

Contact details (e.g., personal information, email address, or other data voluntarily provided by the user, including content in the message body) supplied voluntarily by the user through the contact pages or via telephone, fax, or regular mail.
Providing such data is optional; however, failure to do so will make it impossible for the Data Controller to process the user’s requests.
The Controller observes the principle of data minimization and retains personal data only for the time necessary to manage the request, or longer where required for legal protection purposes.
3. METHODS OF PROCESSING
Personal data are mainly processed electronically and digitally by the joint controllers and other parties who, carefully selected for their reliability and competence, perform tasks instrumental to the purposes strictly related to the use of the website, its services, and the purchase of products through the website (see paragraph “Subjects and categories of subjects to whom data may be communicated”).
Personal data will not be transferred abroad to countries outside the European Union that do not ensure an adequate level of personal protection.
DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. reserves the right to delete accounts and all related data if unlawful or defamatory content is detected, or content that is harmful to the image of the controllers or third parties, or that promotes illegal or offensive activities diffamanti.
4. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
Data are processed to provide the following services available through our website:
- Registration on the site to access related services
- Subscription to specific services, such as newsletters
- Management of information or contact requests
5. LEGAL BASIS AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL
Providing personal data is optional; however, under contractual agreements between the joint controllers, refusal to provide the requested data may prevent DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. from finalizing the contract or relationship to which this notice refers.
Personal data stored in the database will never be disclosed publicly.
The mandatory or optional nature of providing data is specified each time — with reference to the individual data requested — by marking mandatory information with an asterisk (*).
Data processing is based on legitimate interest for contact forms and consent for website registration. The data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7.3 GDPR).
Refusal to provide data or opposition to their processing may make it impossible, despite our best efforts, to provide the requested services (as described in point a).
Refusal to use data for other purposes will not affect access to healthcare-related services.
6. ENTITIES AND CATEGORIES OF ENTITIES TO WHOM DATA MAY BE DISCLOSED
In general, personal data collected through the website are not shared with third parties.
However, to provide the requested services, the Controller may communicate data to external companies performing activities strictly related to the fulfillment and execution of contracts and services, such as:
- Data storage and archiving management
- Banking institutions for payment processing
- Tax authorities and other public bodies in compliance with legal obligations
- Law firms for legal protection of contractual rights
- Freelance professionals for administrative and accounting purposes
- Postal services
- Third-party companies for market analysis, marketing, and communication activities
Such entities process personal data exclusively to fulfill customer requests or to store data electronically.
Data may also be disclosed to entities for whom disclosure is mandatory under the law.

7. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
User data will be retained by DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. only for as long as necessary to ensure the proper provision of the requested services, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable laws, including accounting regulations.
Data shared with service providers will be processed only for the time strictly necessary to complete their assigned tasks.
8. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Data subjects may exercise, at any time, the rights granted by Articles 15 and following of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them, to know their content and origin, and to understand the purposes and methods of processing.
They also have the right to verify accuracy, request updates, corrections, or, where appropriate, integration of data; request deletion, anonymization, or restriction of data processed in violation of the law, including data not required for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed; and object, on legitimate grounds, to their processing, including for direct marketing, market research, or commercial communication purposes.

This Privacy Policy is governed by Italian law and by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
